Summer Workshop 2

​ Star Festival is based on the story of Tanabata. Legend has it that every year, on the night of the 7th of July, weaving girl Orihime and cow hearder boy Hikoboshi are able to meet over the Milky Way.

• Be immersed in the story of Tanabata.

• Learn the Tanabata song and movement.

• Create Tanabata origami decorations and display them.

•  Write and display wishes on paper strips (Tanzaku) .
